Imam Rabbani: Incidence of Istighatha

This part is a translation from the book Manaqib wa Maqamat-i-Ahmadiyya-i-Saidiyya, written by Muhammad Mazhar 'quddisa sirruh', a son of Ahmad Saeed Faruqi 'quddisa sirruh'   Note : Hazrat Shah Muhammad Mazhar Faruqi Mujaddidi,[died on 11 Muharram 1301 A.H] son of Shah Ahmad Saeed Naqshbandi Mujaddidi (r.a), buried near the grave of his father in Jannat-al-Baqi, Madinah Munawwara. The Imam 'quddisa sirruh' had innumerous kashfs and karamats. We will write a few of them in order to become blessed: 1- One of the Imam's disciples wrote a letter to him, asking, "Did the Ashab al-kiram attain these ranks which you have been telling about? If so, did it occur at once or gradually?" The Imam said that a question of this sort could be answered only in a sohbat (by being together). The questioner visited him for his sohbat. The imam made tawajjuh to him (turned his attention towards him), bestowing on him all the nisbats he possessed, and said, "What

Dalail al Khairat and Istighatha

Dalail al Khairat and Istighatha Dalail al Khairat is a composition of different blessings on prophet [sal allahu alayhi wa sallam]. It was composed by Imam Muhammad ibn Sulayman al-Jazuli al Hasani (Rh) (d. 869 AH /1465). He was a descendant of Prophet Muhammad, ( sal allahu alayhi wa sallam) via his grandson Hasan, son of Ali.( radi allaha tala anhum) He memorized works of usul al-fiqh and Maliki law, such as Ibn al-Hajib’s Mukhtasr al-Far’i and Sahnun’s Al-Mudawwana al-Kubra. He also met the famous jurist and wali of Allah, Sheikh Ahmad Zarruq  (Rh). After settling a tribal feud he left the area and spent the next forty years in Makkah, Medina and Jerusalem. After his long journey, he returned to Fez where he completed the prayer book  Dalail al-Khairat . One day Imam Jazuli went to perform his ablutions for the prescribed prayer from a nearby well but could not find any means to draw the water up. While thus perplexed, he was seen by a young girl who called out from high above, “Y

Al-Tafhimat al-Ilahiyyah: About the Fabricated statement in the book of Shah Waliullah Dehlawi

“All who go to the land of Ajmer or to the grave of Salar Mas’ud or those that resemble them in order to request [to fulfil] a need, it is indeed a sin more grievous than murder and adultery. Its likeness is not but the likeness of those who worship the creation or like those who call on Al-Lat and Al-’Uzza. However, we do not [unequivocally] declare disbelief [upon them] due to the absence of a text from the Lawgiver in this specific matter.” [ Al-Tafhimat al-Ilahiyyah 2/45-Shah Waliullah Dehlawi]   View of Experts  Syed  Shaykh  Zaheeruddin ahmed (rh) ,Shaykh Zayd Faruqi  Naqshbandi,(rh),Mawlana Hakeem Sayed Barkati (rh)   and Ayyub Qadri were all expert on the life and work of Shah Waliullah muhaddith al dehlawi (rh).  They have all agreed that the above quote is not from Shah Waliullah (rh) but was later added in his book as a part of mass fabrication which was done in the books of Shah Sahib. The Practices of Shah Waliullah Muhaddith Naqshbandi (Rh) Shah Waliullah often used to v
